Arturo Mora-Rioja began his collaboration with the top Spanish online magazine Tomajazz.com in 2001. Since then he has contributed more than 400 articles, including concert, CD, video and book reviews, as well as interviews with renowned international jazz musicians (Pat Metheny, Branford Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding, John Scofield, Kurt Elling, Esbjörn Svensson, Marcus Miller, the Yellowjackets, Chuck Loeb).
He published two special features on Pat Metheny (July 2005) and e.s.t. (Esbjorn Svensson Trio, November 2006). Two of his texts became part of both books published by Vila-Real's town hall ("Los ochenta: de fusiones y confusiones" -"The Eighties: of Fusions and Confusions"- in the book Avui Jazz 2005 and "La inspiración del artista y la leyenda negra del jazz" -"The Artist's Inspiration and the Black Legend of Jazz"- in the book Avui Jazz 2007). An occasional collaborator at the radio show Universos Paralelos, conducted by Sergio Cabanillas at Onda Verde, he has also written the liner notes for the CD Trio Album by guitarist Chema Saiz (2006).
In 2011 he was interviewed for the Jazz en España - "Jazz in Spain" documentary along with Spain's top jazz journalists Juan Claudio Cifuentes "Cifu", Javier de Cambra and Pablo Sanz. It was broadcasted in Spain's History Channel.
On April 30th 2013 he gave the lecture "El jazz: sus orígenes y evolución" - "Jazz: Its Origin and Evolution" within the programme of activities held on Jazz Day 2013 at Teatros del Canal (Madrid).
